St Andrews

Known as the “Home of Golf”, and home to the oldest university in Scotland, St Andrews, located in the East Neuk of the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland is just 40 minutes from Edinburgh airport, 25 from Dundee and central to other points of interest including beautiful coastal areas like Anstruther Largo and other small quaint places.

There are many places to eat and stay in St Andrews, although they might all be taken up this summer as it will host The Open Championship in July.  Summer or winter, however, this town is worth a visit at any time of the year.  Check out the castle and cathedral ruins while you are there, take a trip down the same streets where “Will and Kate” walked while at uni, or sip a warm cup of tea (or coffee) looking out on the picturesque cobbled streets and watch others pass by.
